To Pembroke for our crossing to Rosslare, then on to the Brandon House Hotel in New Ross (3-Star) for our overnight stay. |
Monday |
After breakfast travel to County Cork with a visit to Cobh, the final port of call for the Titanic before she met her fate in 1912. On then to Clonakilty and the Clonakilty Park Hotel, your base for 4 nights. |
Tuesday |
A scenic journey via Mizen Head to Bantry for time at leisure, but not before a visit to Bantry House and its impressive treasures. On then to the harbour town of Glengariff for a boat trip to Garnish Island where visitors will see the effects of its unique micro-climate and possibly its colony of seals. |
Wednesday |
Today is at leisure to enjoy the facilities at the hotel and this friendly town. A leisurely walk will find you in the town centre with access to Clonakilty Distillery, West Cork Model Railway Village and Michael Collins House Museum. For the more adventurous, why not visit the Clonakilty Blackpudding Visitor Centre, who make the most popular black pudding in Ireland with their secret recipe |
Thursday |
Visit the vibrant city of Cork for shopping and sightseeing amongst the colourful buildings on the banks of the River Lee. Visit the famous English Market selling Cork's artisan produce and see the spectacular Saint Fin Barre's Cathedral. This afternoon visit Blarney Castle and for those wishing to kiss the famous Blarney Stone. |
Friday |
Head across Ireland towards Dublin for our final night at the Clayton Hotel in Leopardstown. |
Saturday |
Breakfast today is included on board our return sailing back to Holyhead where upon arrival we continue homeward. |
