    Located on the unspoilt Suffolk coast, the Wentworth Hotel is situated just 20 yards from the beach the hotel has an award-winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant. 2 cosy guest lounges. There are also 2 sea-facing gardens, offering views of the beach.

    Mobility Grade: 3 – The hotel features bright, traditional rooms with en-suite facilities. Many rooms offer impressive sea views, and all have a TV and radio. Please note that although there is no lift in the hotel, the majority of our rooms will be on either the ground or first floor.

    Itinerary


    Sunday

    We travel towards Suffolk with
    a stop en-route in the market town of
    Bury St Edmunds, before continuing to
    Aldeburgh and our 4-night stay at the
    Wentworth Hotel.

    Monday

    Enjoy a scenic morning drive
    via Thorpeness to the beautiful seaside
    town of Southwold on the Suffolk
    Heritage Coast. This elegant town,
    with its award-winning pier and famous
    painted beach huts. We return to our
    hotel in the afternoon where we will
    be treated to a delightful Cream Tea.

    Tuesday

    Today, we visit Sutton Hoo –
    home to one of the greatest
    archaeological discoveries of all time. We continue to Christchurch Mansion,
    one of Suffolk’s most treasured buildings.

    Wednesday

    We drive to Oulton Broad
    where we enjoy a delightful 90-minute
    Waveney Marshland River Cruise. On our
    return we visit Snape Maltings, a complex
    consisting of houses art galleries,
    restaurants, cafés and up-market shops.

    Thursday

    Departing our hotel we visit
    Lavenham, before returning home to
    the Midlands.
