We head to Chester for our three night stay at the Queen Hotel. |
Monday |
The highlight of the trip: step aboard the exquisite Saphos Train. Welcomed with Buck's Fizz, enjoy a full English or fish breakfast, pastries, and granola. The train travels the Settle & Carlisle Line, crossing the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct. After alighting at Langwathby, we visit Dalemain Mansion and Gardens. On return, a champagne reception, canapés, and a five-course seasonal dinner await, including cheese board, wine, tea, coffee, and petits fours. We return to Chester via the West Coast Main Line. |
Tuesday |
We visit Arley Hall, the family home of the 11th Viscount Ashbrook and a filming location for Peaky Blinders. Our private visit includes entry to the Hall and its award-winning 15-acre gardens. |
Wednesday |
We leave for home after a last, hearty Cheshire breakfast. |
