This stylish three-star hotel is located in the famous coastal town of Caernarfon, North Wales. It has superb leisure facilities, including a sixteen-metre swimming pool. The bright and airy bedrooms all have TV, tea/coffee making facilities to make your stay a comfortable one. The restaurant is bright and spacious and there is a contemporary pub-style bar offering plenty of comfortable seating. Depart Henley-in-Arden this morning and travel to North Wales, arriving late afternoon at the Celtic Royal Hotel for a 4-night stay. |
Friday |
Visit Gwydir Castle, a restored Tudor house in the Conwy Valley, brought back to life by owners Judy Corbett and Peter Welford. Discover its gothic charm and haunted reputation, then enjoy a cream tea and free time in Betws-y-Coed. |
Saturday |
Enjoy a guided tour and tasting at Aber Falls Distillery, North Wales's first distillery since the early 1900s. Learn about sustainable whiskey and gin production, then spend free time in the coastal town of Conwy. |
Sunday |
Spend the morning in Caernarfon before boarding Queen of the Sea, a 1930s ferry operated by the same family for over 80 years. Guided by 6th-generation pilot Emrys Jones, cruise the scenic Menai Strait. |
