Itinerary
Day 1 |
We travel south, arriving at our hotel during the afternoon. Relax, settle in and enjoy a drinks reception before our first delicious evening meal. |
Day 2 |
After breakfast we travel to St Erth where we board the local train for the short journey to St Ives. Here we discover one of Cornwall's best loved resorts with its cobbled streets, winding alleyways, historic harbour and quaint fisherman's cottages. A mecca for artists for many years, the town is home to the Tate Gallery St. Ives. |
Day 3 |
We visit Porthleven - a historic and picturesque fishing harbour overlooking Mounts Bay. We continue to Marazion, set on the shores of Mount Bay with its clean sandy beaches and stunning views towards Lizards Peninsula. Here, the more energetic can visit St Michael's Mount, alternatively, why not relax and soak up one of the finest views in the country. We return to our hotel in the afternoon for a cream tea. |
Day 4 |
This morning we visit Falmouth, a town renowned for its maritime heritage. In the afternoon we visit Trebah Gardens, a Cornish valley garden, rich with exotic blooms, vibrant tunnels of colour, and its own private beach. |
Day 5 |
After breakfast it's homeward bound. |
