The Northfield Hotel is located on the lower slopes of North Hill in nearly 2 acres of landscaped gardens. All rooms are well appointed, with en-suite bath or shower, digital TV, tea facilities and complementary Wi-Fi. Facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool and outside there are lovely terraces. The restaurant is spread over three areas with a relaxed atmosphere.

Monday |
Departing Henley-in-Arden we journey south west. |
Tuesday |
This morning we drive to Tiverton, where we enjoy a 1 ½ cruise on the Great Western Canal on-board one of the last remaining horse-drawn barges in Great Britain. The 'Tivertonian' is a truly unique living heritage from a time before steam! The canal was built in 1814 for primary use of the lime trade and stretches for 11 miles. |
Wednesday |
After breakfast, we take a relaxing heritage train ride from Minehead to the village of Bishops Lydeard on the scenic West Somerset Railway. Next, we visit Cleeve Abbey, one of Somerset's undiscovered jewels. |
Thursday |
Today, our included excursion takes us along the North Devon Coast, to the charming twin resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth, spectacularly situated on the northern edge of the Exmoor National Park and linked by a cliff railway. |
Friday |
Departing after breakfast we visit historic Dunster. From here we commence our journey homeward. |
