Sunday |
Depart from your Henley-in-Arden during the morning travelling to North Wales and arriving late afternoon at Celtic Royal Hotel for tea/coffee and biscuits and our 4 nights stay. |
Monday |
Our first visit today takes us to the shores of Cardigan Bay and Portmeirion. We visit this unique attraction - setting for the cult TV series 'The Prisoner'. From here we drive to Betws-y-Coed where we have a break with time explore the town and enjoy the afternoon. |
Tuesday |
This morning we have a ride to the village of Llanberis, in the shadow of Mount Snowdon. Here we join the Llanberis Lake Railway for a delightful ride along the lake shore. We have time to explore and obtain lunch in Llanberis. This afternoon, return to Caernarfon by coach for free time. |
Wednesday |
After breakfast this morning we make our way to Bodnant Garden. Located in the Conwy Valley this garden is a Grade 1 listed horticultural gem - home to botanical collections from around the globe. Later, we head to Anglesey to explore the Welsh island. Perhaps visit Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogery-chwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (known for its very long village name!) and the James Pringle Weavers before heading to Beaumaris to enjoy time at the seaside. |
