Itinerary
Day 1 |
We travel to Falmouth with time to relax ahead of dinner. |
Day 2 |
A day in Falmouth today to get used to your new surroundings, however, we do include the very popular Fal River Cruise, a 2 hour introduction to the delights of the resort and surroundings |
Day 3-4 |
The classic round trip of Cornwall's southwest tip awaits today. As we approach Marazion you will spy St Michael's Mount across the water. We continue to Lands End, Britain's most southwesterly point, ending the day at stunning St Ives. The following day is at leisure to explore Falmouth or to relax. |
Day 5 |
We head towards Devon, though not before stopping in Bodmin to visit its excellent Bodmin Jail attraction. Our arrival into Barnstaple is late afternoon ahead of our first dinner at the Imperial Hotel. |
Day 6 |
We head through the natural beauty of Exmoor to Minehead, where we board the 20 mile long West Somerset Steam Railway, England's longest heritage line, stretching from the seaside up to Bishops Lydeard. |
Day 7 |
After a morning to get to know delightful Barnstaple, we head for Woolacombe, a beauty spot and peaceful location on the North Devon coast. |
Day 8 |
After breakfast we depart our hotel, returning home in the afternoon. |
