Tuesday |
Today we visit the much-loved seaside resort of Llandudno. Take the tramway to the summit of the Great Orme for wonderful views, browse the shops along the wide main street, or simply relax on the sweeping promenade. |
Wednesday |
A day in Chester. Explore the unique 'Rows' of two-tiered shops, stroll along the historic City Walls, or wander down to the River Dee for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon we join a relaxing sightseeing cruise on the river, with informative commentary highlighting Chester's history and landmarks. |
Thursday |
This morning we travel to Port Sunlight Village, built by William Hesketh Lever for his factory workers and named after his famous Sunlight Soap. On our guided tour we learn about the village's fascinating heritage and unique architecture. We return to the hotel in the afternoon for a traditional Cream Tea of scones with clotted cream, jam, and tea or coffee. |
