Itinerary
Monday |
We travel south, making a suitable stop for lunch en-route, arriving at our hotel during the early afternoon. |
Tuesday |
We visit the Beaulieu Estate. Set within the heart of the New Forest National Park. Beaulieu is an award-winning attraction. The National Motor Museum tells the story of motoring on our roads and racetracks. Experience the Victorian splendour of Palace House as costumed guides give you a flavour of life `below stairs`. Ride the Monorail for sweeping views of the park, and uncover the covert role played by Beaulieu during World War Two in the Secret Army Exhibition. |
Wednesday |
A day at leisure to relax and enjoy Bournemouth. |
Thursday |
Today travel the short distance to Wimborne, where you have time to explore. Perhaps visit the Minster, Priest's House Museum, or the Model Town. After lunch, we depart for Grade I listed Highcliffe Castle. Described as arguably the most important surviving house of the Romantic and Picturesque style of architecture. The magnificent building once lavishly furnished in the 18th-century French style remained a family home of the de Rothesay's until the 1950s. |
Friday |
After breakfast we commence our return home, arriving during the afternoon. |
