BodnantGarden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the UK, spanning some 80 acres and is situated above the River Conwy, looking across the valley towards the Snowdonia mountain range. The upper garden aroundBodnantHall consists of the terraced gardens and informal lawns shaded by trees. The lowerportion, known as the “Dell” is formed by the valley of the RiverHiraethlynandcontainsthe ‘Wild’ garden. After lunch we return through the Snowdonia National Park, pausing at Betws-y-Coed – North Wales’s most popular inland resort.
