A leisurely drive north to our overnight hotel - The Stirling Highland Hotel, Stirling (3-Star).

Monday

We continue north travelling via Pitlochry to the charming resort town of Aviemore, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Cairngorms. From here we drive via Inverness to the spa town of Strathpeffer. In the afternoon we continue deep into Wester Ross, arriving at our hotel, located on the shoreline of Gairloch for our 4-night stay.

Tuesday

A short hop this morning with a local operator so your driver can have a rest day, to Inverewe Gardens. A garden like no other with amazing species that simply shouldn't grow there! Lose yourself in this lush setting before exploring Inverewe House, now an interactive museum. The remainder of the day is at leisure in the pretty harbour town of Gairloch.

Wednesday

Today is an opportunity to sample part of the North Coast 500 route. See the tiny sheep-inhabited Gruinard Island, with a grim past, to Little Loch Broom and fantastic views of the Loch and An Tellach, the highest mountain in the area. Heading on, passing the magnificent Corrieshalloch Gorge, known for its Victorian suspension bridge, and Falls of Measach before arriving in Ullapool. A village wrapped in stunning scenery; we include admission to the town museum. Take time to wander here before delving into the local shops

Thursday

A full day, exploring Wester Ross further. Head along Loch Maree, framed by the Slioch and Beinn Eighe mountain ranges, to Achnasheen in the east of the region. Here, join the train for a scenic trip to the Kyle of Lochalsh with spectacular views and light glinting off the waters of the many lochs. Rejoining the coach, we pause for photos at the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle before returning via lovely Loch Carron to our hotel.

Friday

Departing Wester Ross we return via Fort William and lonely Glencoe before reaching the shoreline of Loch Lomond and on to our final night at the Riverside Lodge Hotel in Irvine.
