Family owned since 1852, the 4-star Weisses Kreuz hotel is located on the edge of historic Feldkirch. It has a cosy bar, restaurant, fitness room and garden/terrace. The Hotel offers excellent hospitality and regular entertainment. Lift to all floors.

This 4-star superior hotel is located in an excellent position on the valley floor in the centre of the little village of Les Diablerets and against the backdrop of the surrounding peaks which share the same name (the little devils). It offers great levels of comfort and good facilities to include a large lounge/bar area, indoor swimming pool and sauna. Rooms are well appointed and all with private facilities, television and hairdryer. A lift serves floors 1-4. (Most rooms are "Austrian twins" i.e., 1 bed frame but with 2 separate mattresses and 2 separate sets of bedding)

Itinerary
Monday |
We drive to Dover for the short Channel crossing to Calais. Upon arrival, we proceed to Saarbrü cken for our overnight stay at the Mercure Saarbrücken Süd. |
Tuesday |
We continue south to Villingen-Schwenningen , a beautiful town located on the edge of the Black Forest region. We continue along the northern shores of Lake Constance to our hotel in Feldkirch - a picturesque medieval town in the Western Austrian State of Vorarlberg, bordering on Switzerland and Liechtenstein for our 3-night stay. |
Wednesday |
A day at leisure in Feldkirch. Included today is return local bus transport between the hotel and centre and entrance to Feldkirch Castle. |
Thursday |
A full day's excursion to discover the Bregenzerwald region with visits to the Schwarzberg and the Bödele Pass. Today we include a cheese farm visit and schnaps distillery visit with tastings. |
Friday |
We depart our hotel in Feldkirch and travel to Chur to join the mid-morning Glacier Express train. Travel over the exciting Oberalp and Furka high mountain passes before arriving in Brig. Here, we rejoin our coach and travel to Les Diablerets for our 2-night stay. |
Saturday |
Today we visit Lake Geneva. We include a boat trip on the lake itself, plus entry to the charming, romantic lakeside Château Chillon. We return via beautiful Montreux with its long lakeside promenade and stylish shops and cafés. |
Sunday |
Departing Les Diablerets we head north to Strasbourg, a charming city situated in the Alsace region. Be sure to view the impressive Gothic cathedral and the numerous bridges crossing the Ill River, which formed part of the 17th century fortifications for the city. Wander the little streets of 'Petit France' - the former tanners quarter lined with charming inns and flower-bedecked timbered houses, before re-joining our coach for our drive to Metz for our final night at Novotel Metz Amneville. |
Last Day |
Departing Metz, we return to Calais for our sailing to Dover, returning to Henley during the evening. |
