Itinerary
Day 1 |
We travel north towards Newcastle passing Antony Gormley's iconic Angel of the North before arriving at our hotel during the afternoon for tea & biscuits and our 5-night stay. |
Day 2 |
today we visit Seahouses, Bamburgh & Lindisfarne |
Day 3 |
Today we take the road north, past Blyth and Ashington, to Amble, Warkworth and historic Alnwick. We visit the magnificent Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland family dating back to 1309. |
Day 4 |
We take you along the Durham Heritage Coast to the lively harbour town of Seaham. We return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure in Newcastle. |
