The 4-Star Langstone Hotel is a stunningly individualistic hotel situated on the south coast between Portsmouth and Chichester on the northern shore of Hayling Island overlooking Langstone Estuary and harbour. Brasserie Restaurant, Bar/Lounge, Leisure facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool.

We travel to Hayling Island arriving during the afternoon for our 4 nights stay. |
Monday |
Enjoy a trip to the top of Brighton's i360 and be left in awe by panoramic views of the beautiful South Coast. Glide up to 450ft in the spacious glass viewing pod and take in the views of Brighton's many landmarks from above, as well as the expansive stretch of coast all the way from the Seven Sisters cliffs to the Isle of Wight. The remainder of the day is at leisure so you can explore this popular seaside destination. |
Tuesday |
We visit Southsea for the highlight of our trip - a Hovercraft flight across the Solent to the Isle of Wight seaside resort of Ryde. The short crossing features the 'Hovercraft Experience' where you have the chance to meet the pilot and crew who will talk you through how the craft works before showcasing the abilities of the craft including 360 degree turns, deflating the skirt to 'float like a boat' and a flight around local landmarks. On arrival in Ryde, we will enjoy a 2-course lunch at Ryde Castle Pub. Afterwards, there is free time Ryde before our hover crossing back to Southsea. |
Wednesday |
We make the short journey into maritime Portsmouth. There are lots of interesting things to see and do. Visit the magnificent Historic Dockyard or perhaps wander around the Old Town and visit the lovely Cathedral as well as Spice Island, the former haunt of smugglers and press gangs. A visit to Gunwharf Quays is a must, with its excellent array of shops and restaurants. |
