The Wensum Valley Hotel is set just outside the city, ideally placed for our excursions. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym. All bedrooms are ensuite with television, telephone, hairdryer, and tea/coffee making facilities. Please note: the hotel does not have a lift, though ground floor rooms are available.

Depart from your home area this morning and travel to Norwich, arriving at the Wensum Valley Hotel in time for dinner and a 4-night stay. |
Tuesday |
We begin with a visit to England's premier lavender farm, Norfolk Lavender, where nearly 100 acres of the fragrant crop are under cultivation. A guide will take us on a fascinating tour covering the history, growing process, and distillery. There's also time to explore the National Collection of Lavender, showcasing a wide variety of species. In the afternoon we continue to the historic port of King's Lynn, where you can find lunch and enjoy free time to explore at leisure. |
Wednesday |
Today is free to enjoy the fine city of Norwich. Take in the magnificent cathedral, browse the shops, or wander the cobbled streets of Elm Hill. With its mix of history, architecture, and vibrant culture, Norwich has plenty to offer. |
Thursday |
This morning we travel to Aylsham to board the Bure Valley Railway for a nostalgic 9-mile journey to Wroxham. Here we transfer to the water for a relaxing cruise on the Norfolk Broads, taking in the tranquil waterways, reed beds and pretty thatched villages such as Woodbastwick. |
Friday |
After breakfast, we make our homeward journey. |
